Dinner Bell Co-op member Anna Wilson dreamed up these buttery, comforting Garlic Knots — and now we can’t stop dreaming about them. They’re made with simple ingredients (and lots of love), like all our recipes, and you can get them on the table in 20 minutes. Try them as a game-day appetizer, fun Friday night dinner or hearty after-school snack.

How To:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Roll each crescent triangle into a croissant, and then continue rolling until it forms an 8-inch rope — and tie the rope into a knot. Place on a baking sheet.
  3. Whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash, and brush it on the knots.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, stir together the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush the butter mixture on the knots and continue baking for 3 to 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately with warm marinara for dipping.
